This is an opportunity to hear directly from a leader who is on the ground, working to create meaningful change for one of NYC’s most vulnerable populations. CFL has been doing life-changing, joyous work in Sunset Park for the past 45 years with the immigrant community. CFL provides legal services, family counseling, after school services, food pantry service, and so much more. They are facing unprecedented challenges. And they need our help.

We are a group of Brooklyn community members who are raising funds to support and protect our immigrant neighbors. We believe that the United States has been strengthened economically, socially, and culturally by people from all over the world who have made America home. Grateful for the opportunities to build our lives here, we feel it is our responsibility to support our immigrant neighbors. We are welcoming people to our own tables as a way to help welcome others to the American table. We believe that “when you have more than you need, build a longer table not a higher fence.”
